Miami MetroZoo apartments have many benefits that are not found in other complexes, mainly, that residents do not have to go far to see two playful orangutans. As the newest featured animals to the zoo, Bonnie and Mango are two adorable orangutans who can amuse people, young and old, who live in Miami apartments. In addition to these fun animals, the zoo also features big cats like tigers, a leopard
and African lions and interesting dogs like the New Guinea singing dog and cape hunting dog. Residents of Miami MetroZoo apartment dwellers can also view large animals such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinoceroses and bears.
Several specially designated areas include the Amazon and Beyond section on 27 acres with over 600 animals, Amazonia: Amazon River and Flooded Forests and the Atlantic Forest. The zoo practically covers the world when it comes to various ecosystems represented. A children's zoo is found here as well for the younger Miami apartment dwellers. Camel rides and a carousel are here for the playful type, and several show and tram tours exist at the zoo for those who prefer to sit.
Places to eat and drink, in case you didn't bring anything from your Miami MetroZoo apartment are in abundance here, with a wide variety of cultures represented. Admission prices aren't too high here, with a price of $15.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 12 and under.
